Redpanda 22.2 will reach End of Support on Aug 17, 2023

Executive Summary:

Redpanda 22.2 was launched on August 17, 2022,  and will reach End of Support on August 17, 2023, along with all 22.2.x patch releases.  We encourage all customers to plan their upgrades as soon as possible and to contact their Customer Success representative if necessary.  After the ‘End of Support’ date, no additional patch releases, bug fixes or security patches are guaranteed to be made available by Redpanda on the affected release line.

 

Beginning now, Redpanda is introducing a Product Lifecycle Policy that provides support for any Redpanda ‘major’ release for one year from the date of launch, after which it reaches ‘End of Support’. This date also applies to all subsequent patch releases (e.g. 22.2.12) of the major release (in this case,. 22.2). Redpanda 22.3 and 23.1 release lines will continue to be supported until reaching their End of Support date, 1 year from their initial release.

• v22.2.1-v22.2.12

Action required:

Upgrade all Redpanda clusters, RPK and Redpanda Console to the latest available version (23.1.x for Redpanda), or to another supported release as soon as possible.
