Redpanda Connect Cloud - ConnectError: [invalid_argument] invalid pipeline configuration

Problem

When trying to create a Redpanda Connect pipeline in Redpanda Cloud, you may receive the error below.

ConnectError: [invalid_argument] invalid pipeline configuration

This error can have several causes we will detail one common one below.

Cause

It is possible the Input or Output you are using are not available in our Redpanda Cloud environment, please confirm they are by checking the list located here.
