Redpanda Console - START OFFSET timestamp filter isn’t honoured

Issue

In earlier releases of Redpanda Console, there were multiple issues with the START OFFSET timestamp filter:

  • The query would not "refresh" automatically when you set the Timestamp
  • Timestamp specified on the filter was regularly not the same Timestamp run on the actual backend query
  • Timestamp specified in the filter would reset to: 12-31-1969 23:59:59 UTC.

Resolution 

The issue has been identified as a product defect (UX-783), which has been fixed in Redpanda Console version 3.5.1.
